The Battle of Waterloo was a tragic end for Napoleon’s power. Going in, France thought they were the strongest and couldn’t be beat, oh were they wrong! Napoleon had come down with a cold and a fever but tried his best to hide his sickness and was sick during the fight but he didn’t give up until he was dragged off the field into a bed (talk about serious commitment). Great Britian put up a strong fight and France was doing well and winning, so they thought, until the Prussians came in to help out Great Britian, France soon began to loose, thousands of men were being killed. Napoleon had no idea what was going on becauses he was in a bed resting. He was later informed that they had lost the battle. The two main opposing countries ( Greaet Britian and Prussia) after their victory decided to exile Napoleon again, because they didn't want to be hyptocrites and kill him. This time they sent him to an island far away from any costal line. He had no way of coming back, it would take him months to get to any other body of land.
